Fishing at Lake Andrews, Alabama
Anglers can expect largemouth bass, including trophy fish in the six-to-eight-pound range. An abundance of forage threadfin and gizzard shad help grow that black bass population, along with some spotted and shoal bass. Bluegill and channel, flathead, and blue catfish also make up this lake's fish species.
Since the banks and waters of the Chattahoochee River form the boundary between Alabama and Georgia, several areas are affected by fishing license agreements and some areas are not covered by reciprocal licenses.
